Frog-tabulous attraction

New to the Waynesville, Saint Robert, Fort Leonard Wood? Have you gone to see the Frog Rock?? This is something special about our area and just became even more of an attraction!!

The frog rock, known as Croaker is now a geographical location in the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) database.

The famous frog is the reason for our known Frogfest and now Frogtoberfest, where locals can enter frog races, eat frog legs, and vote to make a local business person kiss a frog.

The famous frog hasn’t always been a frog. It was sculpted in 1996 when a local tattoo artist and former Army medic Phil Nelson carved and painted the frog.

What a great little feature our local community has in bringing the town together with festivities.
